I've been seeing a lot of these log entries once per hour recently, even tho the application log level is ERROR. Aren't they more like DEBUG entries?
also, could these multiple lines be combined into a single line, per directory being checked?

it’s probably for another ticket, but is it possible to allow these max size values (1Gb and 100Mb) to be configurable?
can you create an other ticket for that, ATM this is hardcoded.
