Actively maintained! Flying saucer is dead, the openhtml2pdf fork maintainer disappeared, so the community took over

gonna need some help resolving the osgi issues

I think we should dump the ancient old iText support aka classic completely with v2

Initial version, it compiles! https://github.com/lucee/extension-pdf/pull/59

but there’s some issues with the old itext 2.1.7 library and it’s dependency on bouncy castle 1.38, other libs require version 1.80.0

only one dependency was missing OSGI metadata

it also needs commons.logging > 1.3.0, we are still on 1.20

there is a new forked project, which seems to be actively maintained, as alas the old maintainer disappeared

I’ve filed a request to add OSGI Bundle metadata to openhtmltopdf, that way Lucee doesn’t need to wrap the builds
