    • Environment:

      CentOS 7, Apache 2.2, Tomcat 8.0.24, Java 1.8.0_45

      Description

If you create an EHCache called "default" it will create ok, however when you attempt to use it or verify it you will get the error:

      java.lang.NullPointerException

Meaning that you are unable to use the cache. You can however create a RamCache with the name "default" and it works without issue.

WORKAROUND - Use another name instead of "default" for the cache name.
