I tested this ticket with Lucee version 6.2.1.63-SNAPSHOT. When I set cgiReadOnly=false in both Application.cfc and Application.cfm, it became writable, and no issues were encountered. It now works fine.

caused by a partial refactor, which missed updating the field
.CFConfig.json is updated, the admin just doesn’t reflect it
