Hi , I've confirmed the error based on the language selection in cfindex. I've listed the languages used in cfindex with their error shown below.

Note : I've tested with Lucene installed version : 2.4.1.29

Working fine for following languages in both versions:

1. English

2. Japanese

3. Korean

4. Russian

Issues in both 4 & 5 versions:

Issues occurred only in version 5 & works fine in version 4:

Hi,

The solution provided by Michael does not work for me. Il leads to error 500 on all pages of the site.

But for me, the problem only occurs with a language other than english (french in my case).

Solution:

Download the jar-zip from http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/a/Downloadapachelucenejar.htm
Extract the ZIP
copy the jar-file to your lucee/lib file

How can i push this into the latest lucee download?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi Michi,

I'm running into the same issue, with a plain vanilla new install of the latest Lucee 5.0 that is up on the site.
Creating the collections using the web administrator works fine, but when I'm trying to populate it using cfindex, it throws me the same error message as Michael Diederich reported.
I'm also using the lucene 2.4.1.29, installed from the extensions tab, and it is the latest update that is available there.

Any new on this issue, as it is a blocker for the development I am doing on lucee ...

When searching for this issue on the web, I noticed that there was an issue also with lucene 5.2.1 which has been resolved in Lucee 5.0.0.197.
Any chance that version could be offered as a lucee extention?

Sincerely,
Jurgen
