I've checked this ticket with the fixed versions and now getComponentmetaData with the final component works fine. But getComponentmetaData with abstract component throws the error. It creates regression on

The regression starts from 5.1.1.1-SNAPSHOT onwards and works until 5.1.1.0-SNAPSHOT. This commit causes this issue

getComponentMetaData() of final component Using CFC path throws error. Seems Using the CFC object works fine.
