CF setting, this.smtpServerSettings, is missing from Lucee

Description

This effects the ease of converting CF applications to Lucee. Also, in my case, being able to run the same app on either server platform.

From the original Railo ticket:

ColdFusion 9 added the smtpServerSettings attribute to the Application.cfc to allow configuring the default email settings without using the Administrator or having to include credentials in each cfmail tag. Railo is missing this functionality in the Application.cfc and this breaks some compatibility.

Can we simply make `smtpServerSettings` an alias for `mailServers` or are there major differences between the implementations?

This is something that I'd absolutely love to see. At this time, we're trying to run our Lucee applications "headless" (without an administrator), so any settings that we can script and configure via environment variables makes this much easier.
