Add shorthand to output expression in tags without cfoutput

My personal vote would be "perhaps for .lucee, but not for .cfm".

My reason will always be "just stick to mirroring CFML - IE: as defined by Adobe - as closely as possible for the Lucee CFML server, as it's not helpful to diverge CFML dialects in such a small community".

But it's an OK idea for your non-CFML solution, once it shapes up. Unless you drop tags completely for .lucee and use an established templating engine (handlebars or one of its ilk). Which would make this kinda redundant.
