cfdocument format="pdf" not working at all

Description

I get no output at all when attempting to generate a PDF, just a grey background to the browser.

Environment

OSX 10.10.5
PDF extension seems to be installed as seen in Admin > Extension - Applications

thank, i will try the testcase and also add a testcase to lucee that at least checks the file size of a pdf generated.

I've attached a dead simple test case that demonstrates the issue for me.

I've uninstalled the PDF extension, redownloaded it from http://preview.lucee.org/download/?type=extensions, (Version:1.0.0.48) dropping into the deploy folder. It installs, disappearing from the deploy folder and appearing as an installed extension in the admin interface. I also shut down and restarted Lucee. I see only a grey background in the browser when I try to view the PDF.

what version of the pdf extension, please have in mind that an update from Lucee does not update an already installed extension.
